Experience Requirement

• Assistant Professor: 0 – 5 years of teaching experience

• Associate Professor: 8 – 12 years of experience; Anna University Guideship with minimum 5 Scopus Indexed Publications

• Professor: 10 – 15+ years of experience; Anna University Guideship with minimum 10 Scopus Indexed Publications; proven ability in establishing Centres of Excellence and institution building

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

• Conduct classroom sessions, tutorials, and laboratory sessions using innovative teaching methods

• Guide students in research projects and internships

• Use modern software tools for effective teaching

Mentoring

• Guide students in academic progression (national/international studies)

• Provide research and career counseling

Department Activities

• Curriculum Development – Participate in curriculum design and revision

• Laboratory Development – Improve infrastructure continuously

• Organize workshops, conferences, and short-term programs

Research

• Prepare and submit quality research proposals

• Secure funding from various agencies

• Execute research projects efficiently

Administrative Work

• Participate in accreditation and governance activities such as ACBSP, NIRF, NBA, ISO

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong academic background

• Passion for teaching and research

• Good communication skills (written and oral)

• Team player with clarity of expression

• Proven academic and research track record
