About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCM Head to lead and oversee our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, logistics, and distribution to ensure the continuous and cost-effective supply of medical and non-medical items crucial for patient care.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing supply chain strategies, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and drive cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely availability of critical supplies.

• Procurement & Sourcing: Design and execute purchasing strategies for medical and non-medical items, negotiating optimal pricing and quality terms with suppliers.

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, and ensure adherence to contracts and compliance standards.

• Inventory Management: Supervise tracking, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring minimal wastage and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

• Logistics & Distribution: Manage internal and external logistics to ensure smooth and timely delivery across all departments.

• Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving measures while managing the overall supply chain budget effectively.

• Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas of improvement.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain processes adhere to healthcare regulations and internal protocols.

• Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast supply requirements and resolve operational challenges.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train supply chain teams to foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Experience: Proven track record in supply chain operations, procurement, and inventory management within a healthcare or hospital environment.

• Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and decision-making abilities for performance optimization.

• Strategic Thinking: Expertise in long-term supply chain planning and optimization.

• Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills for vendor and contract management.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
