The university is named in honor of the rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh. The university aims to provide high-quality education, research, and training across various disciplines to meet the growing needs of society.

Post: Research Fellow
Title of the Project:
“Preferential Extraction of Tantalum from Segregated e-wastes Leached by Using Halide-based Reagents and Subsequent Separation of the Metal through Solvent Extraction”

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Ministry of Mines, Government of India & TECHSPARK, Balurghat

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgical / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering with first class from a recognized University / Institute.

• M.E. / M.Tech in relevant discipline or B.Tech with a valid GATE score is preferable.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Research experience in extractive/process metallurgy, kinetics, hydrometallurgy will be preferred.

Project Details:

• Duration: 24 months

• Stipend: ₹ 19,000 per month (consolidated)

• Number of Positions: 2 (Two)
