Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar was established in 1987 as Regional Engineering College. On 17 October 2002, the Government of India granted it the status of a National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Later, under the NIT Act of Parliament 2007, the institute was declared an Institute of National Importance. NIT Jalandhar offers a wide range of programs including B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, and Ph.D. in several disciplines of engineering, technology, and sciences.

• Candidates should have first class / division in UG and PG degrees.

Duration

• 3 years

Fellowship / Salary

• Rs. 37,000 per month + 20% HRA

• As per institute / project norms.
