Essential Qualifications

Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant or allied branch of Engineering/Technology

• First class in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent

• API score of 400 points as per UGC Regulations (2016 amendment)

Desirable:

• Post-Ph.D publications (research papers, patents, books, technical reports)

• Experience guiding PG/PhD students or R&D projects

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in relevant or allied engineering discipline

• First class in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at Assistant Professor level

• API score of 300 points as per UGC regulations

Desirable:

• Research publications, patents, books, or technical reports

• Experience guiding research students or industry R&D projects

Assistant Professor

Minimum Eligibility:

• Master’s Degree (M.E / M.Tech) with First Class in relevant Engineering discipline

Desirable:

• Teaching or industrial experience

• Research publications in journals or conferences

Candidate Profile

• PG / Ph.D in relevant field

• Good communication skills

• Strong commitment to academic work

• Good research and publication record

Pay Scale

• Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 (Academic Level 14)

• Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 (Academic Level 13A)

• Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (Academic Level 10)

Additional allowances are applicable as per State Government rules.
