Position Details

Job Title: Guest Faculty 

Department: Microbial Biotechnology 

Employment Type: Temporary

Role Description:
Applications are invited for the position of Guest Faculty to teach M.Sc. (Microbial Biotechnology) classes during the odd semester of the academic year 2025–2026 in the Department of Microbial Biotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Microbial Biotechnology or an allied subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

• A relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-abled categories, and for Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991.

• Ph.D. in Microbiology / Biotechnology or related fields is desirable.

Remuneration

• Rs. 1,500 per lecture, with a monthly ceiling of Rs. 50,000.
