Organization Profile

The National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) is located in a spacious 50,000 sq. ft building spread across 18.6 acres of green campus. The development of the NCESS campus in 1986 was a remarkable transformation of an abandoned clay mining site into a modern and eco-friendly research campus within a short period.

The campus, located away from the noise and congestion of the city, provides a peaceful research environment surrounded by nature. The vision of the founder Prof. C. Karunakaran was realized through the leadership of Dr. H. K. Gupta (Director) and Sri M. Sethumadhavan (Registrar).

The present green campus also owes much to the efforts of Dr. S. Satheeschandran Nair, who played a major role in revitalizing the land into a flourishing ecosystem that now hosts more than 200 rare species of flora.

Qualification

Project Associate II (Finance)

Essential

• CA / CMA (Inter) or M.Com / MBA (Finance)

• Minimum 2 years experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a government organization

Scientific Administrative Assistant

Essential

• Graduate degree in any discipline

Desirable

• Minimum 2 years experience in administrative work in Government / Private organizations

• Degree / Diploma / Certificate course in Computer applications

• Basic operational knowledge of computers

Candidate Profile

• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline preferred

• Good communication skills

• Strong commitment towards work
