• Candidates with Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 / 2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Additional Conditions for Ph.D Candidates

• Ph.D. must be awarded in regular mode.

• Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.

• Open Ph.D viva conducted.

• At least two research papers published from Ph.D work.

• At least two research papers presented in conferences/seminars supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR.

Candidates with Ph.D. from top 500 world universities (QS, THE, ARWU rankings) are also eligible.
