Organization Profile:

The permanent campus of IIT Bhubaneswar spreads over 936 acres of land. It is situated at the foot of Barunei Hill, which is famous for its rich history. The campus provides a serene and pollution-free academic environment, including:

• Residential area

• Training centres and Research Park

Initially, IIT Bhubaneswar operated from two transit campuses in Bhubaneswar city during its inception, but the majority of residential and academic activities have now shifted to the permanent campus at Argul.

Project Details:

Project Title: AI-based Automated Countdown Activities Monitoring System (RP511)
Project Sponsor: Integrated Test Range, Chandipur (ITR-DRDO), Balasore District, Odisha

Position:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Development and Research

Eligibility / Qualification:

• BE/BTech/MSc (CSE/IT/AI/Data Science) OR

• ME/MTech (CSE/IT/AI/Data Science)

• Candidates without ME/MTech must have valid GATE score (CS or DA disciplines)

• Age: Preferably below 30 years (relaxation as per GoI norms for reserved categories)

Required Skills / Experience:

• Open source development frameworks

• Audio & speech processing, speech signal processing

• Implementation of AI & ML frameworks

• Industry-scale software development knowledge

• GUI development

Pay & Tenure:

• Consolidated Pay: Up to ₹37,000 + HRA @20% (depending on qualification & experience)

• Tenure: 18 months
