Essential Qualifications

Professor

Eligibility (A or B)

A.

• Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.

• Minimum 10 research publications in journals indexed in UGC CARE / Scopus / Web of Science.

• Total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018.

• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor or equivalent research experience.

• Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.

OR

B.

• Outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant discipline.

• Significant contribution to the field supported by documentary evidence.

• Minimum 10 years of experience.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline.

• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks.

• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.

• At least 7 research publications in UGC CARE / Scopus / Web of Science journals.

• Research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant subject.

• Must have cleared NET / SLET / SET conducted by UGC / CSIR.

OR

• Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.

OR

• Ph.D. from a top 500 ranked foreign university as per QS / THE / ARWU rankings.
