• Biomedical Engineering:
  B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

• Computer Science and Engineering:
  B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

• Science and Humanities (Maths, Chemistry, English):
  M.Phil with NET / SLET or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
