Assistant Professor

• MD / MS / DNB / DM / M.Ch or equivalent degree in the concerned discipline from MCI/NMC recognized medical colleges

• Must be registered under any Central or Meghalaya State Medical Council

• Must have completed one year Senior Residency after MD/MS

• Candidate must be a serving medical officer or specialist under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya

Senior Resident

• Medical Postgraduate Degree MD / MS / DNB in the relevant subject

Tutor / Demonstrator

• MBBS Degree

Pay & Allowances

• In-service candidates applying on deployment will have their pay protected

• Assistant Professors may receive an additional Teaching Honorarium as decided by the Health & Family Welfare Department

Tenure

Assistant Professor posts will have a tenure of five years from the date of joining or until promotion to Associate Professor, subject to National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
