Research Position: BITS-RMIT PhD Student

Project Title: Phase field modeling of grain boundaries in micro-scale fracture of BBC OBS steel

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: BITS-RMIT Academy

Location: BITS Pilani Hyderabad & RMIT Australia

Project Duration: 48 months

Stipend:

• ₹45,800/month at BITS Pilani

• 2,500 AED/month at RMIT Australia

Essential Qualifications:

• M.E./M.Tech/MS or equivalent in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Material Science, or allied branches

• Minimum CGPA of 7.5 or aggregate of 65%

Desirable Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

• Advanced Mechanics of Solids

• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python
