Development of Fast Fault Detection and Location Estimation Scheme for Low-Voltage DC Microgrids

Project Duration

3 Years
(Extension based on performance review every 12 months)

Essential Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

AND

• M.E / M.Tech in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Note: Candidates with a valid GATE qualification will be given preference.

Desirable Experience

• Basic knowledge of Power System Protection

• Knowledge in:

  • Microgrid Dynamics and Control

  • Renewable Energy (Solar PV)

  • Power Electronics Converters

  • AI / ML Algorithms

Salary

For candidates with GATE qualification

• ₹37,000 per month (First two years – JRF)

• ₹42,000 per month (Third year – SRF)

For candidates without GATE qualification

• ₹30,000 per month (First two years – JRF)

• ₹35,000 per month (Third year – SRF)

HRA: 9% if institute accommodation is not provided.
