Eligibility

• Eminent artists or private persons fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications applicable to Lecturer (Bharatanatyam) in Central/State Government institutions.

• Candidates currently working as Lecturer (Bharatanatyam) in Government institutions with analogous posts, or with minimum 8 years of regular service in Pay Level 15 of Tamil Nadu State Pay Scale (₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800) or equivalent.

Essential Qualifications

• Pass in Class X

• Diploma / Degree / Post Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution

• Ability to perform solo Bharatanatyam performance for about 2 hours

• Ability to sing and conduct dance programmes through Nattuvangam

• Capability to participate in Kalakshetra productions

• Ability to teach junior and senior classes including theory in English

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the field

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of South Indian languages and Hindi

• Ability to write music and dance notations
