Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025 –

The Indian Air Force has released the official notification for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025 under AFCAT 01/2026. This recruitment is being conducted for the January 2027 Course, and eligible candidates can apply online from 17 November 2025 to 14 December 2025.

Through this recruitment, applications are invited for the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical), Meteorology Entry, and NCC Special Entry.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed notification available on the official website afcat.cdac.in before applying, to clearly understand the eligibility criteria, selection process, and other important guidelines.

AFCAT Entry Flying Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream with Physics & Mathematics at 12th level OR BE/B.Tech from any recognized University/Institution.
Ground Duty Technical Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) 12th with Physics & Maths (50%) AND 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in relevant discipline OR Integrated PG Degree.
Ground Duty Technical Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical) 12th with Physics & Maths (50%) AND 4-year Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
Ground Duty Non-Technical Administration & Logistics Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream with 60% Marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty Non-Technical Accounts B.Com / Commerce Graduate with 60% Marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty Non-Technical Education MBA / MCA / MA / M.Sc with 50% Marks from any recognized University/Institution.
NCC Special Entry Flying NCC Air Wing Senior Division “C” Certificate + other eligibility same as Flying Branch.
Meteorology Entry Meteorology Master’s Degree in Any Stream or equivalent from any recognized University/Institution.

Selection Process"
Stage Details
Written Exam Candidates have to appear for an online Computer Based Test (CBT) covering subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and English.
AFSB Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the AFSB interview, which includes Psychological Tests, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview.
Document Verification Verification of all certificates and academic documents of the selected candidates.
Medical Examination Final stage involves a medical test to ensure candidates meet the physical standards of the Air Force.
