Qualification

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Diploma in Education.

OR

2. Higher Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Diploma in Education as per NCTE Regulations 2002.

OR

3. Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

4. Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

5. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with 6 months Bridge Course in Elementary Education (PDPET).

Additional Requirements

• Must have Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification recognized by the Government of Goa as per NCTE guidelines.

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in primary schools recognized by the Directorate of Education.

• Knowledge of Konkani language.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Marathi language.
