Qualification

• Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade).

• Consistently good academic record throughout.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of teaching and academic administrative experience in higher education.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities

• Excellent organizational and conflict-resolution skills

• Strategic vision with a student-centric approach

• Quality research publications and Ph.D. guidance experience

• Technologically proficient and adaptable to digital transformation

• Familiarity with UGC, NAAC, NBA norms and autonomous college functioning

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in academic and administrative operations

• Oversee curriculum planning, scheduling, and examinations as per autonomous norms

• Monitor faculty performance and promote professional development

• Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality standards

• Address student grievances and maintain discipline

• Coordinate with IQAC, Examination Cell, and Academic Council

• Support recruitment, appraisal, and workload distribution

• Represent the institution in official meetings and act as Principal when required

• Encourage research, innovation, and industry collaboration

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per institutional norms, ranging between ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.0 lakh per month. Higher salary may be offered for deserving candidates.
