Position Overview

Drishti IAS invites applications for the position of Freelance Evaluator – General Studies (Optional) to join our growing academic team. The evaluator will be responsible for assessing UPSC Mains answer scripts with fairness, precision, and consistency, while offering constructive feedback to enhance student performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate UPSC Mains answer scripts accurately in accordance with prescribed marking schemes and evaluation standards.

• Assess responses for relevance, clarity, structure, and analytical depth in alignment with question requirements.

• Provide detailed and constructive feedback to help aspirants refine their writing and conceptual understanding.

• Ensure uniformity, transparency, and objectivity in the evaluation process.

• Meet evaluation productivity and quality benchmarks within assigned timelines.

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), training modules, and institutional guidelines.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

• Accuracy: Evaluate answers in strict alignment with official marking schemes.

• Consistency: Maintain fairness and objectivity across all evaluated scripts.

• Feedback Quality: Deliver actionable feedback to facilitate candidate improvement.

• Timeliness: Complete assigned evaluations within stipulated deadlines.

• Compliance: Adhere to internal evaluation frameworks and training standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Cleared UPSC Civil Services (Mains) or appeared in the Interview Stage (English Medium).

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in script evaluation preferred.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any discipline.

• Skills: Strong analytical writing, comprehension, and evaluation abilities.

• Preferred Experience: Prior experience as an evaluator, reviewer, or content developer in competitive exam training institutions.
