• Master’s Degree in Economics with 55% marks from a recognized university or equivalent foreign university.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must have:

• NET / SLET / SET qualification conducted by UGC/CSIR

OR

• Ph.D Degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 / 2016

Conditions for Ph.D Candidates

• Ph.D must be awarded in regular mode

• Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners

• Open viva voce conducted

• At least two research papers published from Ph.D work

• At least two research papers presented in conferences/seminars supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR

OR

Ph.D obtained from a Top 500 ranked foreign university as per:

• QS World University Rankings

• Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings

• Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)
