Central University of Odisha was established by the Parliament of India under the Central Universities Act 2009.

It is one of the 15 new Central Universities created by the Government of India to improve access to quality higher education in educationally backward districts. The university is located in Koraput district, which belongs to the KBK region (Koraput–Bolangir–Kalahandi) of Odisha, known for its rich tribal culture and relatively low higher education access.

Project Title

Study on Nutritional Analysis & Microbial Diversity Associated with Local Land Races of Selected Crops and Commodities in Similipal Landscape

Qualification

Research Fellow

• Postgraduate Degree in:

  • Life Sciences

  • Botany

  • Biodiversity

  • Biotechnology

• Experience in conducting field studies

Field Surveyor

• Graduate Degree in any branch of Science

• Experience in field surveys, data analysis, and compilation

Salary

• Research Fellow: ₹25,000 per month

• Field Surveyor: ₹15,000 per month

Project Duration

• 6 Months or until project completion (whichever is earlier)
