 Job Summary

Aries Polytechnic College invites applications from qualified and committed candidates for the position of Civil Engineering Faculty. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering quality technical education to Diploma students, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, and ensuring compliance with AICTE and State Board norms.

 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and conduct practical/lab sessions for Diploma Civil Engineering students

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and lab manuals as per curriculum

• Guide students in projects, industrial training, and site-based learning

• Conduct internal assessments, examinations, and assignments

• Maintain attendance, academic records, and lab registers

• Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings

• Support AICTE/Board of Technical Education inspections and compliance

• Mentor students for academic and career development

• Participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs

 Qualification & Experience

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution

Experience:

• Freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply

• Teaching experience in Polytechnic/Diploma colleges preferred

• Industry experience in construction/site execution/consultancy is desirable

 Key Skills

• Strong knowledge in:

  • Structural Engineering

  • Surveying

  • Construction Planning

  • Geotechnical Engineering

  • Transportation Engineering

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly

• Practical exposure to site work and estimation

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and civil software (preferred)

• Student mentoring and counseling abilities

As per AICTE norms and Institutional Policies
