AIMAN College of Arts and Science for Women was established by the AIMAN Education and Welfare Society as a religious minority institution. The main objective of the college is to provide higher education to socially backward sections of society, especially Muslim minority women.

The college was established in 2000 in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, initially with 50 students across three undergraduate courses.

The campus is located at K. Sathanur, near K.K Nagar, about 5 km from Tiruchirappalli Railway Junction, Central Bus Stand, and Airport.
